Service & Warranty
General
All Plantronics telecommunications products are warranted free from defects in workmanship and materials when shipped for the warranty period specified below and subject to the limitations set forth herein.
Warranty shall be void if, in the opinion of Plantronics, the maximum rating has been exceeded or the failure is due to abuse, neglect, or an unauthorized repair attempt.
These warranty statements cover general sales of telecommunication products and may be superceded by warranties in specific written contracts or purchase agreements.
Warranty Period - New Products
The warranty period for products and sub-assemblies shall commence on the date of purchase, evidenced by serial numbers adhered to each product upon sale thereof.
- Headsets : Premium Range, Ultra - Two Years
- Headsets : Professional Range, Ultra - Two Years
- M10 Adapter - Two Years
- Telephones, P10 Adapter, A10 Adapter, all other product - One Year
Warranty Conditions
During the warranty period, Plantronics, at its option, shall repair or replace any product which is found to be defective under normal installation and use. Plantronics reserves the right to effect repair by replacement of the defective unit with a factory-built unit of " like-new" condition. Plantronics’ warranty is subject to the following general and specific information.

- Pouches
- Switches
- Voice Tubes
Headsets
The following sub-assemblies are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship.
- Capsule Assembly (includes microphone and receiver transducers)
- Amplifier Assembly
Warranty Period - Factory Serviced & Refurbished Products
Products returned to Plantronics for service/refurbishment are warranted for ninety days or the expiration of the original warranty, whichever occurs later.

The customer pays shipping charges to Plantronics. For service or refurbishment, of all products, return the unit, prepaid to :

Return shipping charges to the customer are paid by Plantronics only for in-warranty equipment not requiring chargeable repairs. For out-of-warranty equipment requiring chargeable repairs and for in-warranty equipment shipped in accordance with customer instructions designating a specific carrier or method of shipment, return shipping charges are prepaid by Plantronics and billed to the customer.
Damage occurring during the shipment is deemed the responsibility of the carrier, and claims should be made directly with such carrier.
Limitations
Except as provided herein, Plantronics makes no other warranty, expressed or implied, with respect to its products, including warranties or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, which are specifically disclaimed. It is expressly understood that the sole and exclusive remedy provided to purchaser shall be repair or replacement of defective products or parts.
